Dr. Ma. Concepcion M. Bernal is a graduate of B.S. Biology in the University of the Philippines Manila. She finished her medical degree in the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in the year 2006. After which, she underwent 6 more years of rigorous training as a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon in the Philippine General Hospital. She also visited the prestigious JW Plastic Surgery Clinic in Korea to learn more about cosmetic surgery especially Korean rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty. She is a fellow of the Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, and also of the Philippine College of Surgeons.
Dr. Bernal specializes in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. At present, she heads the Section of Pediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Philippine Children's Medical Center, offering service to the less fortunate Filipino children needing reconstructive surgery. As for the aesthetic side, Dr. Bernal has her own private clinic in Manila catering to surgical and non-invasive cosmetic procedures.
On top of these, Dra. Bernal has been a micropigmentation artist since 2013. Her delicate and precise skills as a surgeon has earned the trust of thousands of patients who have undergone permanent makeup under her hands. With dedicated research, she has introduced eyebrow microblading in the Philippines since 2015. Not to mention, her clinic is the only one that offers guaranteed painless permanent makeup procedure using her expertise in local anesthesia as a plastic surgeon.
